The 19th BET Awards are to be held on June 23, 2019 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. The ceremony will celebrate achievements in entertainment and honors music, sports, television, and movies.
On May 29, 2019, it was announced that the ceremony will be hosted for the first time by actress Regina Hall.

Megan Thee Stallion looked like Superwoman taking the stage during the awards show. Kim was joined on stage by Lil’ Cease. Lil Kim performed onstage at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards, where she was honored with the I Am Hip Hop Award. Ladies night continued with Saweetie, who performed her hit song “My Type.” She was also joined on stage by Lil Jon and Petey Pablo.
DaBaby joined the show, riding high from the release of his new album Kirk. He surprised the crowd by bringing out Offset during his set. Anderson.Paak and YBN Cordae performed together during the show. Chance the Rapper was another performer fans couldn’t wait to see take the stage.
