So, what’s the difference between them and which one is better?
Full Lace Wigs
Full lace wigs are constructed from a lace cap. The cap cover the entire head. Then, 100% human hair is knotted into the cap by hand. There’s also standard Remy lace wigs. They have a strip of stretch lace over the top of the crown. This allow variations in head size, and movement such as hair growth underneath.
And, the best thing about full lace wigs is you can create any type of style imagined. You can pull the hair up into high ponytails and other updos. Plus, they can be parted anywhere. Additionally, they tend to last longer than front lace wigs.
What is a Lace Front Wig?
Human hair lace front wigs have a small sheer lace panel along the front hairline of the unit. The hair strands are hand sewn into the holes of the lace. Lace front wigs are simple to wear because they are stretchy. They also cover the entire scalp area which allows for natural looking hairstyles.
The biggest difference between full lace wigs and lace front wigs is the material used for the base.
A lace front wig uses a sheer lace base for the front portion of the wig. In some lace front wigs, the lace covers the front half of the wig. In other cases, the lace is only used for a couple of inches. The rest of the base is made of a thicker but still comfortable material.
On the other hand, full lace wigs come with a base that is made entirely of lace. The lace material essentially covers the whole head, even all the way to the back.
