Yes, 2020 gave us a run for our money. A long run. However, a lot of things that were canceled in 2020 are back on this year. Tentatively. a lot of commonplace activities that we’ve previously taken for granted may slowly return to our lives. Things like hugging and not being uneasy about getting on a plane.

Can We Look Forward To Traveling & Large Gatherings in 2021?
Raise your hand if the most exotic sight saw in 2020 is literally anything outside your own home. One of the things people will look forward to in 2021 is traveling. Are you planning a huge getaway once the pandemic gets better. Whether you are or not, just the idea that you could is kind of comforting. And you know what’s better than a vacation? A nice big (safe) get-together with friends. Hopefully, we’ll all remember how to socialize.
Looking Forward To Serena Williams Back At It In 2021
After such a quiet year in sports, Serena Williams’ fans are looking forward to seeing her play again in 2021. Not to mention, there’s a lot at stake. The legendary tennis player could win another Grand Slam title at the Australian Open this February. And this would tie Margaret Court’s record of 24 major career titles.
Wide Spread COVID-19 Immunization
Of course, for any of this exciting stuff to happen like hugging and gatherings, we need safe pandemic practices. Plus, a Covid-19 vaccine that’s available to everyone. Several countries are starting to roll out vaccination plans. Also, it looks like there are more vaccine authorizations on the way.
Looking Forward To The Presidential Inauguration in 2021
Does this one even need an explanation? Out with the old, in with the new. The 46th President of the United States will be sworn in on January 20th. Both the Vice President-Elect and President-Elect will take Oaths of Office. Usually, this event takes place at noon, followed by an inaugural address. But this year, the in-person gathering will likely have limited capacity and COVID-19 safety protocols.
The Super Bowl is Back – Kinda
We don’t know who will be playing at the Super Bowl in 2021. But America’s biggest football game is set to take place on Feb. 7th. ‘The Weeknd’ is one of the artist scheduled to perform during the half-time show. It may not be a huge crowd (or any crowd) at this Super Bowl. But if you’re a big sports fan, it’ll be enough to hold you over.
Drone Deliveries
Walmart, Amazon, UPS and other companies are stepping up their drone game. So don’t be surprised if packages start landing at your door soon. The FAA just released new rules about unmanned aircraft. These rules will also advance the integration of drones into the national airspace system. Amazon’s drone delivery service Prime Air got the go-head from the FAA earlier in 2020.
