The numbers are going up. I think we can all agree when we say that Covid-19 has caused communities, families and businesses to get creative on how we live. Earlier this month, we were ordered to shut down again. However, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that salons could resume services if they are held outdoors.
VIP set up outdoor braid bar services (amongst other beauty services) this past month. The state’s new guidelines for hair salons include cleaning and disinfecting protocols. Additionally, we’re to provide temperature screenings for employees and customers as well as wearing masks and safe social distancing when possible.
Although some services are limited, our braid bar is in full effect and booming up quickly! For additional services and recommendations , please call or DM us. VIP is here to serve the community and we intend to do so safely.
During this COVID-19 second shutdown, the guidelines for outdoor hair salons and barbershops include:
- Employees and customers have to wear masks the entire time
- Create an outdoor reception area where guests can check in
- No handshakes, hugs or similar greetings
